The Gospel is a very important part of my life, and I would love for you to read it:
James 2:10 says: “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point should be accounted for all of it.”
Every person has sinned. You must do something about it. You can’t just say that you know that Jesus died and rose again, but you need to genuinely believe that he did and why. As John 3:16 tells us, Jesus died to save us, so that we might not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus, who never sinned, died. He, being blameless, took on all our sin, and paid our debt. But he didn’t stay in the grave, He rose again, conquering death. So if you repent of your sin, and genuinely believe that you are so desperate for Christ as your savior, then you will be saved. Romans 10:9 tells us “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” But you can’t do it on your own. You can’t let go of your sin without God’s help. You must ask God to save you, for “It is by Grace you have been saved, through faith. Not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that none may boast.”
“High king of heaven, my victory won. May I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s sun. Heart of my own heart, whatever befall. Still be my vision, O ruler of all.”
